Battered Prawn-Style Pieces

Now anyone can make a delicious meat free prawn dish thanks to our Battered Prawn-Style Pieces – part of the Fry’s Crumbed Range. These succulent treats are coated in a light and crispy batter, perfect for a chutney or curry.

Ingredients

Tempura: Rice Flour  · Wheat Flour  · Potato Starch  · Maize Flour  · Salt  · Raising Agents (Sodium Carbonate, Diphosphates) · Sunflower Oil.
Filling: Vegetable protein (Soya, Wheat) · Thickener (Methyl Cellulose) · Pea Fibre · Sugar · Flavourings · Onion · Pepper · Garlic · Anti-caking Agent (E551), Lemon  Zest · Dried Seaweed (Nori).

Cooking instruction

Cook from frozen - Remove from packaging. Preheat oven to 180°C. Place prawns on a greased oven tray, brush with oil and bake for 6-8 minutes until golden brown. Or fry in a pan with a little oil on medium heat for 6-8 minutes, turning frequently until golden brown.
