Terms and Conditions for Competitions – Win a Feast

These promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.

  1. To enter, consumers must buy a box of any Fry’s product and SMS the word Frys and the last four digits on their barcode to 33711. Example: Frys1256
  2. Entrants will be entered into a weekly lucky draw to win a feast with a gourmet chef for them self and nine friends at the Ginja Kitchen Studio worth R5000.
  3. Till slips need to be retained and presented in order to redeem the prize.
  4. Chef William Watson will replace Chef Jacqui Brown when she is not available due to prior work commitments.
  5. The competition runs from the 15th of February 2015 at 7am to the 15th of May 2015 at 12pm.
  6. The weekly draws run from the 23rd of February 2015 to the 18th of May 2015.
  7. There are 13 weekly draws in total which will take place every Monday.
  8. Winners will be contacted telephonically by Fry’s Family Foods on the day of the draw using the cell phone number that was used to send the SMS.
  9. If winners are unreachable on the number used to send the SMS at least 2 days prior to the cooking session, Fry’s Family Foods has the right to cancel the event.
  10. Winners cannot change the day, time or venue of the cooking session awarded to them.
  11. Winners need to RSVP for themselves and their nine friends at least 2 days prior to the event with Yavisha Ramnarain (yavisha@frygroup.co.za or 031 700 30 22) during normal working hours.
  12. If winners fail to RSVP at least two days prior to the event, Fry’s Family Foods has the right to cancel the event.
  13. The venue of the event cannot be changed.
  14. The venue of the event is the Ginja Kitchen Studio, The Townhouse, Unit 1a 39-41 Northumberland Road, Durban North, 4051.
  15. Winners are responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue.
  16. Free and safe parking is available at Ginja Kitchen Studio.
  17. Enter as often as you want but only one entry may qualify as a winner.
  18. This is all in the spirit of good fun and Fry’s Family Foods has a zero tolerance on harassment and bullying. Reported incidents will be further investigated.
  19. A cash bar is available.
  20. Welcome drinks, canapés and light meals will be provided.
  21. All finalists agree to their name and photograph being published.
  22. No late entries will be accepted.
  23. SMS cost R1.50 each and free Smses do not apply.
  24. The prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
  25. In the event of load shedding, the cooking session will be postponed to a later date agreed upon by Fry’s and Ginja Foods.

Ginja Food Studio – #FOODMADEGOOD Competition

  1. In order to enter the competition, the entrant must have attended the cooking session at Ginja Kitchen Studio.
  2. To enter, entrants need to take a photograph of their Gourmet Veggie Experience at Ginja Kitchen Studio, tag Fry’s in the post on any social media platforms and hashtag #FOODMADEGOOD.
  3. The photograph with the most number of likes or retweets will win.
  4. Only posts that are public will be chosen as a winner.
  5. There is one winner per cooking session.
  6. The winner will win a 6 months subscription to Ginja Food Magazine, South Africa’s only Chef owned magazine.
  7. Entrants have one week to generate the most likes or retweets on the post.
  8. The winner will be announced one week after each of the 13 cooking sessions.

  10. The prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
