Place the maple syrup and 1 tbsp boiling water in a shallow small bowl. Place the toasted sesame seeds in another small bowl. Dip each Strip in the maple syrup mixture and then into the sesame seeds, coating both sides.
Lay the Strips on a baking tray and place in the fridge for 15 minutes. When ready, warm a little grapeseed oil in a frying pan and cook the Strips. The Strips can burn very easily so watch carefully.
Mix the Thai salad dressing ingredients together.
In an individual bowl, place the salad ingredients. Thinly slice the avocado and place on top of the salad ingredients. Top with the warm Strips and serve with the Thai dressing.
