Terms and Conditions for Competitions

Sausage Competition

  1. Buy Fry’s Wood Smoked Breakfast Bangers and Fry’s Mediterranean-Style Artisan Sausages to collect all 10 unique recipe cards, located inside the packaging sleeves.Once all 10 recipe cards have been collected, post a picture showing all recipe cards on social media (Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter). Tag Fry’s and include #FryWithABang
  2. Entrants need to have a public account so the entries can be viewed by the Fry’s team.
  3. The competition runs from 1 June 2019 to 31 Dec 2019.
  4. One lucky #FrysFan will win a 18cm Le Creuset signature saucepan valued at R2950.
  5. The winner will be contacted via social media.
  6. If the winner is unreachable for 5 days, a new winner will be selected.
  7. Multiple entries are allowed, but entrants will only be permitted to win one prize.
  8. The winner agrees to his/her name and photograph being published.
  9. No late entries will be accepted.
  10. The prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
  11. Prizes will be delivered only once the competition winner have been confirmed and contacted.
  12. Fry’s will arrange for the prize to be delivered to the winner anywhere within South Africa. Should the winner be unavailable to receive the prize at the time agreed by the winner, the winner will then become responsible for the delivery cost of the second delivery.

#SwapTheMeat Competition

  1. Get a copy of the Fry’s and Meat-Free Monday poster, for their campaign, #SwapTheMeat for Earth Day, that were handed out at traffic lights in Cape Town, Durban and JHB.
  2. Snap a picture of the poster and tag Fry’s, and use the hashtag #SwapTheMeat.
  3. The competition runs until 30th April 2019 12pm.
  4. One winner will be chosen to receive the prize.
  5. The winner will receive a Fry’s hamper valued at R1000.
  6. Entrants need to have a public account so the entries can be viewed by the Fry’s team.
  7. The winner will be contacted via social media.
  8. If the winner is unreachable for 5 days, a new winner will be selected.
  9. Multiple entries are allowed, but entrants will only be permitted to win one prize.
  10. The winner agrees to his/her name and photograph being published.
  11. No late entries will be accepted.
  12. The prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

FRESH LIVING COMPETITION

  1. Get a copy of the Fresh Living magazine. Identify how many fish you can find in the Fry’s print advert. Circle or mark them off, take a photo of it and share the picture on Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter, using the hashtag #FishFryDay.
  2. Entrants need to have a public account so the entries can be viewed by the Fry’s team.
  3. The competition runs from the 20th March 2019 and ends 30th June 2019 12pm.
  4. 1 winner will be chosen to receive the prize.
  5. The winner will receive one set of Le Creuset’s Signature Square Skillet Grill and a Fry’s hamper.
  6. The winner will be contacted via social media.
  7. If the winner is unreachable for 5 days, a new winner will be selected.
  8. Multiple entries are allowed, but entrants will only be permitted to win one prize.
  9. The winner agrees to his/her name and photograph being published.
  10. No late entries will be accepted.

Our Mission

Every year, we look at turnover and put up a chart to show how many animal lives would be saved if someone had chosen a Fry’s Product instead of a meat product. Last year that number was 647,737, 11,354 cows, 10,055 pigs and 3 million prawns.
