A hearty and classic family dish with the addition of cauliflower through the creamy mash topping.

INGREDIENTS
Hoisin Noodles
 200 g rice noodles, cooked according to the packaging instructions
 ½ C (125 ml) hoisin sauce
 2 Tbsp (30 ml) sesame oil
Vegetables
 200 g broccoli, steamed and blanched to retain crunch
 200 g edamame beans, steamed
 1 small red pepper, julienned
 ¼ C (60 ml) mixed sprouts
 2 spring onions, sliced
To Assemble
 2 tsp (10 ml) white sesame seeds, toasted
 2 tsp (10 ml) black sesame seeds
 1-2 red chillies, sliced (optional)
 small bunch of fresh coriander, roughly chopped
 1 x 320 g box Fry’s Family Chicken Style Burger, cooked according to the package instructions and sliced

Method

Hoisin Noodles

Drain the cooked rice noodles; add the hoisin sauce and sesame oil and toss well to coat evenly. Divide equally into four serving bowls.

To Assemble

Add a little of each ingredient to the bowls, begin with steamed broccoli, then red pepper pieces, sprouts and edamame beans. Top each bowl with a sliced Fry’s Family Chicken-Style Burger. Add fresh coriander, sliced spring onion, sesame seeds and chillies if using. Serve with extra hoisin sauce and enjoy.

Tip: For speed and convenience Fry’s Family Chicken Style Burgers can be cooked in the toaster for 6-8 minutes.
